Hi! My name is Splo. I'm an Asian freelance illustrator based in Canada. I've been drawing pretty much all my life, but I started taking art seriously in 2015. I've been painting digitally since 2019!

My art style is primarily influenced by East Asian pop culture. I like to experiment with colour and atmosphere, but I find myself gravitating to a nostalgic or dream-like feel. My ultimate goal with each painting is to not only achieve visual appeal but also tell a narrative. Most of my inspiration comes from music and photography.
